Heh! Hey rumble, thanks for proving my point. Even in those still shots you have to look very close to begin to differentiate any of the robots other than prime & bumblebee. Now image trying to tell them apart when they're all moving around in the movie. Honestly, would it have killed them to give the robots actual faces insteads of lumps of shredded metal? Or hell, even a paint job! The movie was decent overall, but honestly, giving the TFs such shoddy treatment when they're the friggin STARS of the movie?!

The Transformers weren't the stars they were just there. It's a Teenage have to get the girl story, then a story about the Transformers. This has nothing to do about being a hater. The story sucked plain and simple, because there was no story just let's try and create as much carnage as possible. It was more about Sam getting the chick then it was about the Transformers, and why they were there.

I didn't have much that trouble telling the robots apart from each other. Most of them have pretty distinguishing features. Like Blackouts rotorblades or Starscreams simian shape.
Course I cared enough to go watch the movie in all it's widescreen & surround sound glory, instead of watching some crappy downloaded cam version on my comp screen. |

You can totally tell it was a teenage true love flick, after Bumblebee took out Barricade and transformed back into the Camero and they had the usual teenage music going

The one I watched was nearly DVD quality. If DVD quality isn't enough to tell the difference, if you can only tell the difference on a movie screen, then it's still a problem.
Example: I couldn't tell who the hell megatron tore in half until after the battle when primes is holding the pieces and says "poor jazz". |

How could you not know it was Jazz? Ratchet, Prime and BB all have completely different colour schemes and Ironhide is a lot bigger and bulkier.
And I didn't have any problems with the teen-love angle. Sam was funny as hell and the chick was hot. |

I only knew it was Jazz by the way he was talking before Megatron tore him apart.
And Optimus saying "One Shall Stand And One Shall Fall" then getting his ass handed to him by Megatron was bad. We did not even get to see much of Starscream either |
