Although I do have Apple's Quicktime installed on my PCs, I've never tried their browser until now. One night I was browsing the web and I saw this link:
www.apple.com/safari/
The web page makes some claims about speed, so I downloaded and installed the application. I don't know if it runs any faster, but I like the way it displays web pages. It's hard to describe how it looks different, but the colors seem much clearer and the fonts are much sharper. And I'm not seeing any ads on here at all. On www.posse.net, it plays the embedded WAV file from the Robocop TV series, where Firefox tells me I need to download Quicktime (which is already installed), and then can't find the Quicktime site to download it. So far I am enjoying the Safari experience. Has anyone else used this?
